This is one of two vases (I and II) I ordered from Jen not to match but to inform each other as part of my desert collection. As I've mentioned before, I like to create a short story for my sellers as a means of respect and to show how much I appreciate their art. Upon receipt these vases look and feel like ancient, unearthed, fire-laden artifacts; slightly misshapen by flames but remaining intact due to the deep earth that preserved them. They have an almost velvety texture. Their beauty is less in their form than in their base patina which is as described and more. Wabi sabi desert. Yes. Lovely. Thanks Jen!!! 🙏

So pleased with the paper mache vase. It looks like age-old antique pottery (vs. newly created paper mache). The mottling is perfect. Shipped promptly, and securely packaged to ensure safe delivery. Thank you.
